3. The remote is well organized and has a mode "View" button that allows you to immediately expand the TV source to fit the screen. This was buried 3 levels down in a menu on the 4 year old Sony 50. Now, with a button you can fill the screen when playing a widescreen DVD or 2.35 old vision of many non-HDTV programs.
4. Best group of customer service I have ever known. I actually read the manuals, but when I get stuck trying to implement something new - such as free wireless internet - good technical support is crucial. Sharps customer service is wonderful. One guy was patient and walked me through the configuration of the wireless Internet connection on my PC / Linksys wireless router. Then I drove to see Sharp 52-Inch 1080p HE LC52LE830U LCD TV TV Blackmy new firmware over wireless connection and then updated the firmware of the TV for the latest release.
The only:
1. Like most of the new flat screen TV, there are no speakers facing forward, so the clarity of the voices seem muffled. I have some 'the bullet and ordered a coffee Sharp TV audio to remedy the situation. I have a wonderful Onkyo AV Receiver with full 5.1 surround sound, but just want to play the majority of TV shows and TV sportscasts with audio only good speakers.
I will update this review when I get the sound bar Sharp TV and have tried to download some movies on the internet..
